REMEMBERING 9/11 Article Submissions

A full day of family-friendly the "Remembering 9/11" tab at the top of the page for more information!

As you know, this September 11 will mark the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that changed the world and defined a generation. Thousands died that day and thousands more have given their lives to prevent such an attack from happening again.

Above all else, the National Infantry Museum is a museum of people, not just dates and artifacts. As part of our 9/11 memorial program, the National Infantry Museum is giving you the chance to share your story with the world. Where were you on 9/11? Did you lose a loved one in the attacks? Are you a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom or Iraqi Freedom? From now until September 11, we'll be publishing your stories on this blog!

To kick this off, one of our staff has provided his own personal reflections on the free screening film for September 11, The Man Who Predicted 9/11. Covering the extraordinary life and service of COL Rick Rescorla (US Army, Ret.), the film documents how his foresight and courage were directly responsible for saving over 3,000 lives on September 11, 2001.
